Why Feeling Lost Might Be the Beginning of Finding Yourself

Have you ever stopped and thought:
“What am I doing?”
“Why am I doing it?”
“Is this really the life I want?”

These questions can creep in quietly — maybe the job doesn’t bring joy anymore, your body feels unfamiliar, or the pace of life feels wrong and you don’t know how to fix it. You find yourself running on autopilot, unsure when you last felt fully connected to yourself.

That was me.
I felt overwhelmed, disconnected and unsure of my next step.
And for a long time, I kept pushing forward — until my body finally said, “No more.”

In 2018, I was diagnosed with cutaneous and systemic mastocytosis, a condition that explained the chronic fatigue I’d been silently battling. But even with that clarity, I still felt lost. My body wasn’t getting better – I just knew what was wrong now. Life was shifting. My daughter was growing up. The things that once made sense no longer did.

And in that lostness… something new began.

Lost Isn’t Failing — It’s a Signal

We often treat feeling lost as if we’ve done something wrong.

But what if it’s actually a signal?

A quiet call to pause and ask:

  • What do I really want?
  • What truly matters to me?
  • What needs to change?

Sometimes we need to lose our way a little to realise the path we were on didn’t truly belong to us.
And that’s when growth begins.

Coaching Helped Me Come Home to Myself

It wasn’t a quick fix. But coaching gave me space to breathe and untangle my thoughts — without judgement or pressure.

Through coaching, I was able to:

  • Let go of the roles and expectations that no longer fit
  • Reconnect with my voice, values, and inner compass
  • Start designing a life that felt truly mine

That’s what led me to become a coach.
Because I know what it’s like to feel unmoored… and how powerful it is to be gently supported back into alignment.

If You’re Feeling Lost Right Now…

You’re not failing.
You’re not broken.
You’re in transition.

This season — as uncomfortable as it feels — may just be the beginning of something new.

✨ Ready for a gentle reset?
